What happened to Rose in Waterloo Road? ›

She appeared in most of Series 5, but has only made one appearance this series. Apparently Elaine Symons (Rose) had a baby in between Series 5 and Series 6, but as both series were filmed back-to-back, she took her maternity leave during the episodes filmed for Series 6. Don't worry though, she's back for Series 7.

Marley Kelly - Oldest Brother - Marley is a student at Waterloo Road and is in a committed relationship with Flick Mellor. He is a successful and intelligent student. Earl Kelly - Brother - Earl Kelly was featured in episodes 1 - 8 of series 4, but is now in prison for murdering former girlfriend Maxine Barlow.

Rose Kelly is the mother of Marley, Earl, Sambuca, Denzil and Prince Kelly. She was also the former partner of Tom Clarkson.
