Hazel looked around as the monsters ran rampant, the sun shining down after an attack from Clytius and Pasiphaë blew it off earlier in the fight. She saw the elevator needle rising up something was coming up the doors but no one is holding the button down.
'someone has to be at the door for Percy' Hazel refused to think that more monsters are coming up it just had to be the sea spawn
It seemed that Annabeth had the same thought because she disappeared from view with her Yankee cap but hazel saw the button to the doors being hold down by something or someone.
Hazel quickly focused on the fight once more as clytius swung his stygian iron sword down dark mist following behind
"you will all die down here filthy demigods" Clytius roared as he wildly swung Jason and Frank taking turns attacking where they thought his eyes would be.
Leo ran up to Hazel as he asked her "what's the plan" before Hazel could reply Pasiphaë twisted her arms as the world around them shifted "Come little children" her voice echoing around them as a giant maze of walls formed around them "Let me show you the power I can teach you" Leo looked over to Hazel
"So what's the plan and please tell me it involves knocking the magic lady out"
hazel chuckled and pointed to the pathways "we follow she has to be at the center of the maze this much mist manipulation has to keep her rooted at one spot."
Leo nodded as he held his weapon tightly and they started their path through the maze Hazle briefly looked around and thought 'at least that's one less person the others have to deal with'

Piper took a deep breath as she covered Annabeth from yet another monster
"Even though you're invisible they just keep finding you" she ducked under a hellhound stabbing it's rib cage turning it into dust "they got smarter"
Annabeth's dry chuckle filled the empty air In Front of the button as her voice said "or they just can smell Athena on me"
Piper nodded that's probably it demigod and their weird scent when she first heard about it she took hours upon hours of showers until a Satyr told her that her scent in particular smelled more like roses and blueberries rather than anything unsavory
The doors of death ticked again as piper looked at it with growing unease "hey Annabeth how do we know that it's Percy coming out of the doors and not another set of monsters"
Annabeth stayed quite as piper looked at where she should have been standing still invisible piper could hear clytius roaring in the background.
"Annabeth?" Piper still hears nothing as the ticking of the door got closer and closer
"Annabeth how do we kno-" Piper was cut off as the doors flew open with a soft ding annabeth took off her hat and pulled out her knife as she stared at the door as the whole room seemed to quiet down
Piper looked over to her left as she felt annabeth stand beside her and she stared into her gray eyes Annabeth's voice slightly trembling as she said "We don't" Annabeth looked around the room.
The whole area seemed to still Hazle held her sword tightly against Pasiphaë's neck and Leo helped her by pinning the magic user to the ground.
She then looked over to Frank and Jason as they stood on the other side of Clytius as the giant itself focused on the doors, its smoky face twisting in what she could only assume is amusem*nt.
The sound of footsteps echoed through the room as the single being walked out of the doors a glowing sword lazily held in their hand raw power flowing off them in waves.
Annabeth knew Percy since they were twelve, she's seen that little twelve year old grow and change into a powerful demigod that was respected by everyone at camp half blood but this was the first time she understood what her boyfriend really was she can hear Hazel clearly in the silent room.
"Which god is that?"
Percy Jackson son of the sea god stepped out of the doors of death his shirt ripped and covered in dry dust and golden liquid. His handsome face in an easy smile like he was taking a midnight stroll he looked at every single person in the room, his smile never once fading.
Percy looked right at annabeth and her heart skipped a beat as his smile grew wider as he took in her disheveled look she dropped her knife causing the loud clang ring through the room.
Percy walked up his footsteps echoing with each step all eyes on him and as he was inches away from Annabeth and Piper he bent down and picked up Annabeth's knife and with his smile not once leaving hands it to her.
"You dropped this"
Annabeth mouth dropped you dropped this week's away and that's the only thing he could say to her was you dropped this she was furious she wanted to shout at him for being a seaweed brain for leaving and falling down into the pit but all she did was hug him 'he's my seaweed brain'
Percy hugged annabeth back giving her the assurance that he's there alive he looked around and noticed all the monsters still there 'right first them ,then all you can eat burgers ,then the gods'
He stepped away from Annabeth and stared at all the monsters his smile growing feral as a few cyclops shifted uneasily Percy voice boomed around the room
"Kneel"
Pasiphaë and Clytius both scoffed along with a couple of monsters, as the demigods looked at Percy as if he grew a second head. Percy sighed and tilted his head sideways confused as he reached out to all the monster's blood except for the magic user and the bane of Hecate and a few cyclops and hellhounds that where a bit far for his reach at the moment.
"I'm sorry I think you misunderstood me" Percy narrowed his eyes as he closed his fist and pulled down to the ground "I COMMANDED THEE TO KNEEL" all at once the monsters that Piper and Annabeth were surrounded exploded into dust Annabeth looked around the room noticing that half of Gaea forces turned to dust but a few others quickly fell to their knees. Annabeth did find it strange that the other half actually listened to Percy 'I guess some monsters do want to stay alive' she thought as she stared at the mother of the Minotaur. Pasiphaë looked horrified as the monsters In front of her exploded into dust causing Leo and Hazel to jump away from her.
Percy smirked as he walked through the room towards Pasiphaë riptide glowing at his side he looked her up and down and frowned
"Pasiphaë of Crete, do you know who I am?"
Pasiphaë gulped but mustered the little bravery she had left though her voice still trembled "how could I forget" she narrowed her eyes at Percy in hatred as her resolve strengthened her voice "you've killed my son three times now"
Percy nodded as he pointed riptide at Pasiphaë throat "kneel" she gulped she wasn't stupid she knew what the sea spawn was saying.
Surrender or die
She glared at Percy she was not going to surrender to this upstart demigod "I wou-" Percy sighed he didn't bother waiting for the rest of her sentence he swung riptide and she turned into a pile of dust as well, He looked over to the cyclops and Clytius.
"Who do you think you are demigod filth" Clytius took a step forward towards Percy bit he stayed unflinchingly "Hazel get the others and cut the chains on the doors I'll deal with ugly over there"
Hazel looked at Percy worriedly but nodded as she grabbed Leo and ran to get Frank and Jason to help Piper and Annabeth with the chains.
Percy swung riptide in a few practiced swings as he stared at the giant "so who exactly are you Mr. Ugly"
"You will show me respect demigods, I am Clytius the bane of Hecate" He then swung his sword inches away from Percy as he bent down his swirling black mist of a head bending down to Percy's level "who are you?"
Percy smirked and reached out to the giant's blood, imaging that it was being blocked off to its heart. Clytius roared in pain as he clutched his chest and stared at Percy in horror.
Percy's smile never left his face but his eyes started to glow sea green. Clytius as he continued to clutch his chest stared at Percy, noticing the dust and golden blood on the boy for the first time.
"I'm Percy Jackson, bane of giants, titans and whatever else wants to mess with me and my friends'' Percy twisted his hand slightly to the left and Clytius' pain stopped for a moment.
Clytius wasn't stupid he's heard of the Jackson boy, the son of the sea god. He's seen the boy's power first hand when Jackson first walked out of the doors of death, how he could destroy monsters with only a flick of the wrist.
He knew what Jackson did to the monsters
He controlled their blood and exploded their hearts just like he just did to him.
"what kind of monster are you"
"I've been asking myself that alot lately, do you know what the scariest thing is?" Clytius slowly started to turn to dust as percy looked over to his friends who where too busy trying to snap the chains on the doors of death
"The scariest thing is that I don't know either"
"you would have done well as a giant or even a Titan Percy Jackson" as clytius took his final breaths Percy saw the form of a small smile before he turned to dust and went back to Tartarus.
'I know' Percy stared at the pile of dust that was once clytius for a few more moments then focused on the rest of the monsters who were still kneeling and watching percy with fear in their eyes. Percy shook his head and reached out to the remaining Monster's blood. He twisted his wrist once more and they all turned to dust with little to no noise.
Percy looked around
No monster was left alive

He recapped riptide into its pen form and walked over to the rest of the Argo II crew as they took off the last chain on the doors. As Percy reached them the chain fell off the doors of death causing them to slam shut and glow before disappearing.
The doors of death have been shut 'yay now where's the nearest burger joint'
"You dropped this?!? I haven't seen you in MONTHS, I thought you died seaweed brain and all you tell me is you dropped this" Percy looked over at his girlfriend as she stormed up to him and he gulped slightly.
He's seen Annabeth angry before but this seems different somehow.
gods how he missed her voice
He smiled and rubbed the back of his head as she got right into his face "ummm yeah sorry?"
Annabeth glared at Percy staring right into his eyes for a long while. As the minutes ticked by Percy was about to say something to end the awkward stare down before his lips were captured by the daughter of Athena
Annabeth pulled back hugging his neck as she started lovingly at him "it wouldn't be you if you said anything else Percy." All that the mentioned sea spawn could do was laugh and kiss her again all the while holding on tightly.
"GROUP HUG" Frank shouted as he tackled Percy as Hazel ran and hugged from Annabeth's side keeping them from falling to the floor the rest of the argo crew ran to join in
'Frank I'll kill you later' Percy thought as he chuckled
Di'immortal did he miss his friends
"So what's a guy got to do to get some decent food around here" Percy's friends all laughed as he held Annabeth tightly enjoying the way she chuckled into his chest
what kind of monster are you?That's what Clytius asked percy as the demigods all started to walk back towards the ship, Percy stared at them as they walked
The gods didn't care about them they could have died down here. Percy saw how many monsters there were and if he wasn't the one coming out of the doors then more would have come and not a single one of them came down to help.
Rage started to fill Percy once again as he held tightly to Annabeth as she looked at him worriedly.
